The vineyard is established in alluvial soils. The texture is sandy loam with a profile of gravel and stones that ensure excellent conditions in terms of drainage. Fertility is low and yields are properly controlled to obtain a good concentration on the fruits.
Combinations of high temperatures during summer, up to 32º Celsius, as well as lower temperatures up to 15º Celsius, permit perfect ripening conditions for the fruits.
From the Maipo valley the wine received strong tannins and a good structure which is well harmonized by the ripe fruits aromas of berries and cassis
